Learn to build-up oil-paintings in a classical (Flemish) style instructed by Paul Van Ernich. Discover how they can be applied to contemporary themes (portrait, still-life, landscapes). Students will follow a step by step process and demonstrates every phase of this painting technique. The technique starts with an under sketch and rough composition. Then students will move onto creating an under painting and then move on to completing the oil painting in a final detailed layer. Paul actively guides you through these phases making it fun and informative.

He’ll demonstrate along the way and show how to handle setbacks in the painting process. Most importantly, he teaches how to look at your painting and help you get to the next level. Students of all levels can enroll, preferably some painting experiences is preferred.
