Quick Overview

"Help my Paintings Tell a Story" with Phil Roberts

Saturday, August 5th from 10-4pm

$135.00 plus materials

This is a studio workshop where Phil re-visits the subjects covered in the "Help my Paintings Tell a Story: Pictoral Composition and Design" lecture and follows thru with showing you the tools of preliminary design sketches and color studies. Themes in the story behind your paintings can be greatly enhanced by composition, design, value, color, and even in the brush strokes you make. This class will provide you with additional tools to add a whole other dimension and depth of an underlining story into your artwork. The goal of this class is to give you, the artist, the tools to be the author of the scene you are creating and not the other way around of the scene dictating to you.
