Phil will be joining the figure drawing classes once a month on Wednesday nights as a figure drawing coach. One hour of instruction will take place before the scheduled “Life Drawing” session. Instruction will be provided without a model in the first hour and then he will coach you during breaks of the session while a model is present.
Phil can address all the challenges with the figure. From the beginning of animated stick figure proportions to gestural blockings to finding core shadows. He’ll help you see the overall figure on the page and pre-designing a well composed drawing.
