If you were wondering how to draw your viewers into your paintings and take them on a trip thru your painting, this is a lecture sharing the subtle tools you can apply.  These tools were practiced by a long history of illustrators in the technique of walking your viewer into and thru your painting. Phil has 35 years experience in illustrating movie posters for Hollywood studios in where his job was to tell the story of the movie in one enticing exciting and/or humorous scene on a one-sheet poster.

The lecture will include examples from great American illustrators of the past as well as paintings from the Great Masters. Phil will also share his short cuts and visual tools he used on a daily basis in designing the compositions for his movie poster illustrations as well as his own paintings. You will go home with plenty of food for thought and look at your own paintings in a whole new way. This lecture is to give you the tools to enhance your individual and unique voice as an artist.

-We have two upcoming classes with Phil and a monthly Figure Drawing Instruction-
