In the morning students will learn how to lay down pigment, layer colors, glaze, cross-hatch, scumble, burnish, impress lines, create sgraffito effects, lift pigment, create soft edges, shade and erase.
In the afternoon students will work on a small drawing to use and integrate many of the techniques they learned in the morning.

Themes in the story behind your paintings can be greatly enhanced by composition, design, value, color, and even in the brush strokes you make. This class will provide you with additional tools to add a whole other dimension and depth of an underlining story into your artwork.
