! (3) 10 x 10 (or 8x 10) Art Alternative MDF Panels
! Modeling Paste
! Sand
! Acrylic Paints (Variety of colors or your favorites)
! Paint Brushes (Variety of sizes small - medium)
! 3” wide sponge brush
! Mod Podge, Decoupage or Acrylic Medium (MATTE)
! Plastic Plates or butcher tray (for mixing paints)
! Small Wide Palette Knife
! White Gesso
! Large Sea Sponge
! Collage Materials (Magazine clippings, ephemera, etc.)
! Clear E-6000 (small or large tube)
! 1 bottle of One-step-Crackle
! Found objects (see list of suggestions & ideas)
! Old towel or paper towels
! Cup for water & brushes
! Small blow dryer (instructor will also provide a few)
Found Objects Suggestions
Keep in mind that you will be completely painting gesso over all your found
objects after adhering the objects to your board.

Ready to take your mixed media skills to the next level? Join me for another fun filled workshop where you will learn ways of adding depth to your mixed media artwork by integrating cheese cloth, modeling paste, sand and found objects. Here’s a chance to create multiple pieces that are more intricate and artistic. You will learn how to texturize a background with modeling paste & sand as well as the use of cheese cloth. You will also create a piece where you will apply found objects as the first layer creating a surface that has dimension and interest. Discover how to add color in ways that will accentuate the texture and detail of your surface.

This workshop is for those who have had some mixed media experience or have taken any of my other mixed media classes. Adults Ages 18+
