Lessons will include initial layout of the figure, edge mapping, and understanding the body’s underlying geometry and structure. Students will be encouraged to observe and analyze the figure and to apply learned techniques into a final drawing with values. Patrick will be sharing his knowledge through demonstrations and critique. By the end of the day students will have a better understanding of how to draw the figure with the goal of feeling more comfortable joining life drawing sessions and drawing from reference.
